Elected officials

Dublin's mayor and City Council: terms, attendance, every recorded no vote with the reason given, and campaign finance. Seven members: three elected at large and four by ward, for four-year terms. Council picks a mayor and vice mayor from its members every two years and hires a city manager to run day-to-day operations.

Attendance counts the 23 regular, organizational and special council meetings from Jan. 5 to Oct. 12, 2026; work sessions and committee meetings are not counted. No votes and recusals come from the approved minutes through Sept. 14 and the action summaries for Sept. 28 and Oct. 12. In Dublin the mayor is a voting council member.

Campaign money

Dublin limits contributions to $195 per source per year for ward candidates and $325 for at-large candidates, according to the city's candidate orientation page, and requires candidates to file reports with the Clerk of Council, which posts them.

Totals for the four ward members elected in 2025 are on their profiles, from the pre-election reports the city posted. We show totals and link the filings; we don't republish individual donors' names. We have not yet reviewed the 2023 reports of the three at-large members.

Financial disclosures

Ohio's ethics law requires many elected officials to file an annual financial disclosure statement listing personal financial interests and fiduciary relationships. The statements are public records held by the Ohio Ethics Commission and available on request.

We have not yet obtained the statements for Dublin's council. Until we do, we can't say whether any business interest touches a council vote.
